BUILDING A PUBLIC CONVERSATION ON ACCESS TO JUSTICE

IN NOVA SCOTIA

#TalkJustice is a community engagement strategy that brings the public voice to the centre of justice reform in Nova Scotia. Since 2014, communities throughout the province have been contributing to this conversation in ways that is informing change and inspiring action. We are learning directly from those who are interacting with justice with the goal of improving experiences.

WHO WE ARE

We want to know what's working well and what we could be doing better. Tell us about your own experiences with any aspect of the justice system. We welcome you to share your thoughts and stories-- anonymously. Your input will contribute to the conversation and help shape the changes ahead.

SHARE YOUR STORY

Improving access to justice means that we must work collaboratively, creatively and collectively. If you have an idea for an innovative project or already know of something that's happening-- we want to hear about it! There are many ways to become involved with #TalkJustice, whether you are a researcher, artist, activist, student or member of the community. Visit our gallery to see how others are contributing to this initiative.

"Accessing the Justice system is sometimes scary for those individuals who have no experience with the system.  Sometimes it is a matter of letting that person tell their circumstances and situation in trying to obtain the help they need to access the system"
